Detention conditions are very rough in Senegalese prisons. Prisoners sleep sometimes directly on the ground in an unbearable heat, without any mattress. SYAPE support the volunteers who teach prisoners and provide them from time to time with material support.
Some fans and matresses were offered to te prisoners during a ceremony organized by oustaze Abdallah Baba Dieng.
