One of the projects carried out by the education commission of SYAPE during the year 2012 is the shipping of a package containing more than 1000 books to Senegal.
Most of schools in Senegal have a huge need of financial and school supplies that prevent the pupils from studying in good conditions.
The education commission of SYAPE looked into this issue and decided to help may schools by providing them books that will be useful for their pupils. A dedicated team has worked effortlessly to collect a package of more than 1000 books covering different subjects (Mathematics, Physics, English, Spanish, French, German, Life Sciences, History, Geography, etc.).
The package of more than 100 books was sent to Dakar to some schools that were in dire need of these books.
SYAPE has also paid entirely all the transportation costs of the package which were around 300 €.
